Don’t eat just “low fat” labeled food
This label means nothing, and some “low fat” products contain a lot of sugar and can still be very high in calories. Don’t be afraid to eat more fruit, because you’ve heard it has a lot of sugar. Fruit is packed with vitamins and minerals. It contains reasonable amount of natural sugars and carbs, so you will not get 10 kilos from eating too many strawberries or apples.
“I ate 2 bars of snickers today, and I will exercise 2 hours more to cut the calories”. Does it sound familiar to you? FORGET IT. Don’t rush out to cut calories you consumed. Rapid weight loss is not such a good thing as you think. If you drop the pounds too fast, you will lose fat AND muscle. But if you want to have a balanced fat loss and good health, losing 4 or 5 pounds per week will be enough.
And don’t forget, no matter what is your training program, don’t overdo your workouts and just enjoy it. Enjoy working on your body and losing fat.
