Eat clean to stay lean

  

We all love to eat some junky food, fat burgers and hotdogs, but when it comes to health you have to choose what is better for you – good taste for few minutes or health for many years. And if you prefer to be healthy, clean eating is what you need. Clean eating is not just a way to get lean and be in a good shape, it’s also a chance to get long-term health for your body.

Food is a ticket to good health. If you eat garbage, you will see the result on your body. If you eat healthy and fresh foods, your body will glow with health.

Some people just remove chemicals from their eating habits, focusing not only on losing weight, but on general health. If you want to eat clean and lose weight, just keep the following advices.

Balance your diet. The key to healthy eating habits is to keep balance. Eat enough protein, vegetables and even carbs.

Cut down on sugar. High intake of sugar can increase risk of heart diseases. The best solution is to eat fruits, which contain natural sugar. They are nutrient, antioxidant-rich and low in calories.

Cut down on refined grains, such as white flour and white rice. They are high-calorie, but low in fiber, so that they can’t provide enough nutrients for your body.

Focus on nutrients, not calories. Don’t be crazy about counting each calorie in your meal. It might be enough for diet, but not enough for being healthy.

Drink more water. It will help your muscles to perform on a higher level.

Eat 5-6 times per day, but smaller portions, so that you can boost your metabolism and feel not so hungry during a day.
